Do I need an app or plugin from Squarespace?
No. Squarespace has no app or plugin marketplace to browse, and you do not need one. The agent is one script tag added through Code Injection, the same feature you would use to add any analytics or third-party snippet. There is nothing to install, update, or keep in step with your template.
Where exactly do I add the code on Squarespace?
Go to Settings, then Advanced, then Code Injection, and paste the one line into the Footer field, then save. It loads on every page of your site. It is the same snippet everywhere, and no template editing is required. If you would rather not touch it, send us access and we install it for you.
Will it slow my Squarespace site down?
No. The widget loads asynchronously after your page, so it never blocks rendering and has no effect on your page speed or your Core Web Vitals. It is a small hosted script, not an embedded app running on your site.
Does it work with the Squarespace contact form and native tools?
